EMBRACING DIVERSITY, CREATING PEACE
Located in the part of the world that is the cradle of civilization, Israel is home to large number of diverse religious, ethnic, cultural and national groups, coming from different backgrounds and different cultures, and holding different values , holding different values and often exhibit actions of exclusion, dissent and animosity towards other groups to the point of denying another group’s legitimacy and existence.
Since 2002, we have been going on an annual peace tour to Israel and Palestine, where we engage in teaching and performing at a large variety of locations – yoga studios, interfaith gatherings, educational programs and peace events – always focused on promoting tolerance and compassion.
Organizations we worked with include: Light of Jerusalem Interfaith Gathering, the Jerusalem Hug, Jerusalem Peacemakers events, Essence of Life Center, Peacemakers Pilgrimage, the Sulha Peace Project, and the All Nations Café.
The 2011 Peace Tour is leaving December 3rd 2011
