SiriOm Singh Spiritual teacher, certified Kundalini Yoga instructor, Reiki Master, occupational therapist, musician and visual artist. Raised in Philadelphia, I spent many years studying in North Carolina and Texas, and traveling around the United States, working as a teacher in alternative education settings and as an occupational therapist. In 1994 I settled in New Jersey, where I met Ayala. |
Ayala Shimelman Life coach, hypnotherapist, occupational therapist and fiber artist. Born and raised in Israel, where I lived until 1990, I came to the USA for graduate studies in NYU. After graduating and while traveling around the country, working as an occupational therapist, I met SiriOm. |
As partners in a holistic health practice we explored advanced therapeutic technologies such as energy healing – Reiki and Healing Touch, Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy and Hypnotherapy. In 1996 we became interested in Ayurvedic medicine, which led to interest in yoga and meditation. In 1997 we discovered kundalini yoga which focused our life on spirituality. As SiriOm became a certified kundalini yoga teacher, we both took on a yogic life style. In 2000 we moved to Trenton, NJ. We decided to listen to our friends, who referred to our home as “the center”, and to create it to be a center for a spiritual community. In 2004 we named in Bhakti, house of devotion, and opened it to spiritual and artistic gatherings. |
