Welcome to Bhakti House of Devotion, the home of
Ayala Shimelman, fiber artist and cook
and SiriOm Singh, visual artist, devotional musician and yogi
Bhakti is our home, where we live, create our art and music, teach an occasional class,
and do our part in making the world a peaceful place.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that all people wish to and are entitled to live in peace.
We believe that separation and exclusion are major obstacles to peace.
We believe that embracing diversity is a critical step to creating a lasting and sustainable peace.
We believe that recognizing the similarity behind the differences is a clearing for creating peace.
We see yoga, art and music as universal practices that enhance people’s ability to accept,
respect and include others in their lives
Bringing together our different ethnic, cultural and spiritual background, we have dedicated our lives to embracing diversity as a means to create communication, compassion and peace in the world. Diversity presents itself in our art and music, as well as in our personal life.
A few years ago Essence of Life Organization in Israel produced and posted this interview with us:
